This is Hotel Posa Posa in Positano. I guess the photos sort of speak for themselves. The view is obviously amazing but so are the people who work there, as well as the food in the restaurant! I will never forget this place, plus it's also the only place I've stayed in Italy where I had a breakfast where my blood sugar didn't take a nose dive by 10:30. Don't get me wrong, I still had my cappuccino and ate from the table of 20 pastries but this girl needs protein! (Thanks for the wonderful omlettes Stefano!)
When we arrived and I saw the view from the hotel room for the first time, my jaw dropped. Stunning. Quite possibly the best view ever! That night we had a beautiful dinner there (at the hotel) of sauteed fresh fish with tomatoes and olives, a beautiful vino rosso and of course topped off with limoncello. (The beginning of my love affair with limoncello!) I think I was too blissed out that first night to take any pictures. Apologies!

Oh, how funny! That's where we stayed last time we were in Positano, too! (Too bad we weren't there at the same time!) Isn't it amazing?
Oh wow, Your photos are getting more and more beautiful of Italy!
I would really love to go to Positano. I wonder if this is the area where the film was made, The Talented Mr. Ripley. The views look very familiar. It is one of my favourite movies because of the Italian scenery. If someone offered me a house in Italy I think I could easily live there. The hotel Posa Posa is stunning. I would love to wake up to that view every morning!
Sweet greetings, :-)
Jo.
AMAZING!!! The photos actually took my breath away -- can just imagine what the real thing would do!
Wow, you are really getting the followers my dear! Bravo! Lovely pics as usual. Glad your staying dedicated to the blog!
Emily! I can't believe you were there too! When? We were there in May ... we basically had two crazy weather days and two beautiful days. Apparently it was a rainy spring.
Thanks Jo! I remember them being in Italy but I saw that movie so long ago I don't remember where they were. If you ever can swing it, you'd love it there.
Kathy, you're right - takes your breath away.
PK Thanks and yes still dedicated though it does go in spurts!

Gorgeous. You are lucky to be able to see and live this.
Stop! Stop! You're torturing me! This reminds me of that movie "A month by the lake" where the hotel is on Lake Como...Were you there? Bellisimo!
Paulo, muitissimo obrigado!
Thanks Costas! Yes, if you are able to ... make plans!
Thank you Michael, and you are right. I have been very very lucky and blessed to have been able to travel.
Oh Kerry! Sorry about the torture!
I don't remember if I saw A Month by the Lake! Yes, two years ago I went for my big 4-0! I got lucky because my parents gave me mileage for my birthday gift and I got to stay for a week in a place my family rented in Varenna. I have some posts of Como in my categories if you are interested in more torture!
;)

You make me remember my time in Italy, where my sister lives. I will send her this link in case she has never been here. So beautiful! I was introduced to limoncello there too. I love Hafiz, especially translated by David Ladinsky. This quote is quite wonderful, thank you.
Style she wrote- thank you for the compliment and thanks for visiting my blog!
Tammie Lee, where does your sister live?
I think the Hafiz book I have is translated by David Ladinsky and it is incredibly beautiful. I was just looking at more Hafiz and other Sufi books at the Bodhi Tree yesterday! Such beautiful poetry.
