"I was the world in which I walked."

Walk with me ...
Breathe
But don't forget ...
to see the beauty
right where you stand ...
On the path you are on.
These photos were from my trip to Italy last May. Sometimes I wish I could teleport myself back there (for obvious reasons! How crazy gorgeous is it!?) but I try to remind myself to see all the beauty that is around me right here, right now. Of course, I am not at all perfect at this but fortunately there are things and people to remind me of it. Life reminds me of it.
I hope you are finding beauty in your world,
on your path,
right
where
you
are.
If not, I pray you find it soon!
Blessings and light my friends.

I completely understand what you mean about wanting to teleport yourself back there. Italy is incredible--a place of such concentrated beauty!

Victoria~
A friend loaned me a just readable novel set in Siena- I would love to live there some day...
It's strange to think that Wallace Stevens never got to Europe - he spoke, or at least read, fluent French, but led a rather sequestered life.
Wow! What a blessing to have visited there.
Kerstin - thank you! And I will tell my Mom, she actually took that first one of me!
Kiki you are sweet and yes that's me!
Susan - Siena is wonderful though it was 14 years ago that I was there ... I am sure it hasn't changed much and I am quite sure you would love it! I hope you get to go someday! What is the novel?
Theresa - Yes, you are right. Very very blessed.
Beautiful post and expression!
I love the title of your blog too.

Many blessings and wonder to you--wherever you are,

Hey Lucinda...I feel much the same when I think of my trip to Ireland and how I would love to spend some longer amount of time there...dream life? 6 months Ireland/British Isles-6 months Italy/France! I do appreciate where I am as well. Especially right here by the fire reading a good book.
That does look amazing...it's always great to be here now...but memories are precious and worth savoring. Our journeys are part of the story....
warm hugs. Maybe next time you will come to northern Italy and we can walk along the Ligurian coast together. What a nice thought.
Beautifully written with beautiful photographs. I am preparing for the same challenge as I'm leaving Tuscany in just 6 weeks. I must find beauty wherever I am, and create it around me if needed.
So true--there is beauty all around us. Lovely post! xo
Beautiful photos!!!
For once in my life I feel like I'm really living in the moment and enjoying each beautiful thing.
A very refreshing post! Every day is a gift.
I try to remind myself to see the beauty and goodness in everything/one as often as I can, its so important to try and be as present as possible. I share your love for travel-I too amd sitting here looking out at the beginning of a very dark and rainy season in Portland, OR thinking about my girlfriend on a jet right now on her way to Paris (which I was supposed to be on) Such is life-in all its glory!
