Winter Moment

Waking up this morning, I smile.
Twenty-four brand new hours are before me.

I vow to live fully in each moment
and to look at all beings with eyes of compassion.

WHOAH...at first,I thought your watercolour was a PHOTO!!! Dearest, you are talented INDEED! Thank you for visiting me! And like you, Fred Astaire was always and still is one of my favorites. I have however, a crush on GENE KELLY whose Irish eyes get me every time, not to mention those fabulous dancin' legs. I do remember SEEING Fred Astaire walking down Rodeo drive walking his dog. That was eons ago, in the early 70s when my girlfriend and I used to CRUISE Beverly Hills!!!!!!!!! You brought me memories there.....enjoy your day and thanks again for visiting! Anita

Your watercolor painting has such a heavy mood, so much that it lingers with me even when I am not looking at it. You are very talented and I am glad to have found my way back to your blog. :)

Especially love the 1st Thich Nhat Hanh quote! Most days I silently say it when I wake up in the morning...to set an intention.

Lovely words and your painting mirrors their sentiment, in the moment.

I love the colors you breathed life into.... beautiful.

can you imagine, if each of us were to take this vow:
Waking up this morning, I smile.
Twenty-four brand new hours are before me.

I vow to live fully in each moment
and to look at all beings with eyes of compassion.

miracles would manifest with each breath.

thank you~
