Last year I finally made it to the Ojai Valley Lavender Festival! For some reason, I'd missed it every year!
These are the photos from last year, to get you inspired to come this year (June 29th!!) if you are in the neighborhood!
Everywhere you look ... lovely lavender sachés (Yes, it smells lovely there!)
There is a wonderful gal who sells her hand painted and dyed scarves. I got one for my Mom last year for her birthday, in purple. So pretty! I'll find her this year and get her info for you.
Womanist is to Feminist
as purple is to lavender.

These Spice of Life Teas smelled so good!!!
Lavender Lemonade!
These soaps, below, smelled delicious, and were packaged beautifully. Here is their very lovely website!
And now ... my favorite booth.
This was the most fabulous tent/booth extravaganza, and Central Coast Lavender had so many wonderful, yummy "lavendery"products!
If I had a flower for every time I thought of you,
I could walk in my garden forever.
~Alfred Lord Tennyson
Beautiful right? Hope they are there this year!
Pretty packaging!
Can you spot the bee, in the "bee friendly" photo?
Click here for the Central Coast Lavender website.
And moving on ...
Ojai Sugar made these scrubs that smelled so good you want to eat them!
New Oak Ranch makes all kinds of wonderful products, but they were also selling different kinds of lavender plants.
Did I mention the Festival has music?
And magical Wands ...
All set in Libby Park, under the beautiful oak trees, in Ojai, California.
Here is Clairmont Farms booth, with more lovely luscious lavender!
Leaving Libby Park ...

There's a few things I've learned in life:
always throw salt over your left shoulder,
keep rosemary by your garden gate,
plant lavender for good luck,
and fall in love whenever you can.
