Earth Day 2012

HAPPY EARTH DAY!

The tree which moves some to tears of joy
is in the Eyes of others only a Green thing
that stands in the way.
Some see Nature all ridicule and deformity,
and by these I shall not regulate my proportions;
and some scarce see Nature at all.

But to the eyes of the man of Imagination,
Nature is Imagination itself.

~William Blake

recent walk in Ojai ...

And peaking out from someone's yard ... a not so subtile reminder of what will happen to us if we don't take care of our beautiful home ...

Because the landscape has always been an integral part of my life,
I have developed a deep sense of belonging to nature
rather than feel apart from it or above it.

~Clyde Aspevig

Blessings and light to you all!

Let's carry Earth Day throughout the year
and take care of this beautiful planet,
that we are so blessed to live on!

I don't know! Does it have to do with how much time they're in the water? Or is that the difference between a turtle and a tortoise? Hmmm.

Dearest lucinda,
Thank you for your soul touching post. We all need to touch even when far away at a distance. So I am touching you will many thanks for your lovely comments on my blog, and when needing any suggestions on your "Hattitude"...feel free and just send me a simple mail. In answer to your previous request about the "LOVE" post, I have a cat, name Prince Tchaikovsky...Sorry x all delays in my response to you, due to many problems with my blog + goolge page...As you can see I change name from L.A. Couture to L.A.Millinery...It took about a month to get things back on track!
See you soon.
Love Kirsten

Okay...so that Dino looks WAY scarier in you photo than in real life. It's as if he came alive for your camera!! So funny! Fun photo of the munchkin jumping too : )
