... More Inspiration & New Pieces

More from the new series. Please feel free to click and enlarge. In person it is much easier to see the layers of paper and media and they feel very light and translucent, almost ethereal. If you missed the previous post, and are interested, it explains the work and what is behind it.

It's gold gouache this time, instead of gold leafing... any opportunity or excuse to use gold! :)

Wow, These are stunning paintings. The lines and textures are wonderful.
I think the gold makes these paintings look iridescent and alive.
Good to visit you again, Lucinda and to see some of your spiritual work.

Love them...I knew you'd start turning your experience last year into some pretty bitchen art sooner or later! Glad you've started. Hope it's cathartic and that you are loving turning that experience into inspiration rather than a negative! Muah!

Grazie Mille! I am really having fun working on and creating these pieces. They have been stored up for a while and are spilling out!
