Father's Day

Sometimes there are areas of our lives where we just get really lucky or are very blessed. My sister Penny and I have been very blessed with an amazing dad. I think these pictures say a lot.

Exploring with us in Cambria, 1972

There's something like a line of gold thread
running through a man's words when he talks to his daughter,
and gradually over the years it gets to be long enough for you to pick up in your hands
and weave into a cloth that feels like love itself.

~John Gregory Brown

Staying Zen indoors in Alaska with Penny (upside down) and Me
circa 1970

I think this (below) was in Alaska in around 1971 (love my dad's sneakers and super cool horn-rimmed glasses!) I have no idea what the clown faces were about. That is me petting our cat that we found out I was allergic to.

Happy Father's Day Dad!!!
You are the best!

Here's a little something for you until your gift arrives ... :)

your dad looks super cool! I am fortunate to have a good one as well...we travelled to Ireland together and our bond became even tighter. I'm back on line and will reume my wanderings soon!

OMG...i so love the pic where dad is exhausted and we're jumping all over him! And it doesn't get cuter than his Astaire pose....Fred would have wished he could have been that dashing. Motto grazia : ) Luv, PK
