I love this piece of writing by Dawna Markova ...
I will not die an unlived life
I will not live in fear
of falling or catching fire.
Watercolor study
fall 2011
I choose to inhabit my days,
to allow my living to open me,
to make me less afraid,
more accessible,
to loosen my heart
until it becomes a wing,
a torch, a promise.
I choose to risk my significance,
to live so that which came to me as seed
goes to the next as blossom,
goes on as fruit.

Ah, love the inspirational words. Opening the heart and not being afraid sounds simple enough, but it is not always that easy sometimes.
There seems to be so much to learn about how to just be in life. ;-)
Your watercolour painting has a luminous quality about it. Very delicate and beautiful.
I hope you had fun with your girlfriends.
Best wishes,
Jo.
