Italy Break for Figure

More of Italy to come but I thought I would break to put up some art!

O.K. so I went to figure drawing last week and we agreed that all the martyred Saints in Italy might be affecting my work! Especially on the one minute warm ups. The first one was really reminding me of the feeling of Saint Cecelia. I can't explain it and it's funny because our model didn't but ... there you have it.

It was good to get back to drawing outside of my tiny little Molskine drawing notebook. I wanted to do more art in Italy but there is so much to see and do that the most I accomplished were some quick sketches that perhaps I can share later.
